Wir habe einen neuen Lieferanten für das Rohmaterial Baumwolle und gleichzeitig eine neue Färberei. Daraus ergeben sich einige Veränderungen.

Die alte Garnstärke NeB 20/3 wird durch die neue Garnstärke NeB 24/3 ersetzt. Bei den Farben kann es zu minimalen Abweichungen kommen. Die neuen Rollen verfügen über eine anderes Etikett.
 

Wir  bitten um Verständnis und hoffe, Sie bleiben der Marke „Franks Baumwolle“ weiter treu.

The yarn consists of 100% mercerized cotton, dyed in Germany with pigments conforming the OEKO-TEX® Standard 100.

The denomination 20/3 - 24/3 stands for a three-thread yarn with yarn count NeB 20/3 - 24/3. The threads are yarned in S-direction and the yarn itself is twisted in Z-direction.

The yarn count can be converted or compared as following.

The identification of the yarn count in the different numbering systems was done by calculation through the follwing equations:

NeL = 1,65*Nm and NeB = 0,59*Nm.


For the maintenance of the yarn it is advised to use hand wash and color separation.

Advice: With knipling clothing it has to be considered, that this cotton yarn shrinks by ca. 10 % when washed. For that reason the knipling model should be enlarged!
