This data privacy statement is to educate the user about the extent and reasoning for collecting personal data as well as the usage of said data by the following vendor.

The legal basis for data privacy can be found in the Bundesdatenschutzgesetz (BDSG) and the Telemediengesetz (TMG).


Access Data / Server-Logfiles

The vendor (or more specifically his web host provider) records specific data about every access to the webpage (so called Serverlogfiles). This encompasses following data:

Name of the website accessed, file, date and time of the access, amount of data sent, message of successful website call, browsertype and version, operation system, referrer URL (last visited website), IP address and name of the broadband provider.

The data is used by the web host provider only for statistical analysis in order to optimize security and performance of their service. However, the provider retains the right to review collected data in case of evidence of unlawful conduct.
Usage of personal information.


Personal data is information which can be traced back to one person ,and hence allows identification. This includes: name, address, email address or telephone number.
Personal data is only collected by the vendor in accordance with the law or if the users opt-in to data collection. Personal data will not be disclosed to third parties.

In the case of the user contacting the vendor (for example through email or the web form) the user’s details will be saved in order to process the query as well as to answer follow-up questions.


Newsletter

The newsletter is used to inform you about us and our merchandize.

If you want to receive the newsletter, we will need a valid email address as well as information needed to verify that you are indeed the rightful owner of said email address and agree to receive our newsletter. No further data will be collected. The collected data will only be used for sending the newsletter and will not be disclosed to third parties.

By subscribing to the newsletter, we will save your IP address and the subscription date. This data is used to prevent others from using someone else’s email address to subscribe them to the newsletter without their knowledge.

You can always withdraw your consent concerning data storage as well as the use of your email address to receive the newsletter. This withdrawal can be done by using the corresponding link in the newsletter itself, your profile section or by sending us a message through the aforementioned channels.


Incorporation of third party services and content

It is possible that this website can contain third party content such as Youtube videos, Google Maps material, RSS feeds and images from third party websites. As a consequence the providers of this content are able to see your IP address, since without it, it would not be possible to display their content in your browser. We try to only use content by third parties who do not use our user’s IP address for anything other than delivering the requested content, however, we do not have any influence over them if they decide to save their data, for example for statistical analysis. If something like this comes to our attention we will inform all of our users.
Registration


The information given at registration is used in order to provide the services offered by this website. The users can be informed by email about service and merchandize related news as well as about registration relevant topics, like for example changes in article and merchandize availability or technical difficulties. Which data is collected in particular can be seen on the registration form. Information gathered encompasses, for example, name, address and email address.


Withdrawal, Changes, Notifications and Updates

The user has the right to request any personal information collected on him free of charge. Additionally the user has the right to correct wrong information as well as suspend and delete collected data, if they do not fall under the duty to preserve records. The user can do this using their own account.

II. The rights of users and data subjects

With regard to the data processing to be described in more detail below, users and data
subjects have the right

  • to confirmation of whether data concerning them is being processed, information about the data being processed, further information about the nature of the data processing, and copies of the data (cf. also Art. 15 GDPR);
  • to correct or complete incorrect or incomplete data (cf. also Art. 16 GDPR);
  • to the immediate deletion of data concerning them (cf. also Art. 17 DSGVO), or, alternatively, if further processing is necessary as stipulated in Art. 17 Para. 3 GDPR, to restrict said processing per Art. 18 GDPR;
  • to receive copies of the data concerning them and/or provided by them and to have the same transmitted to other providers/controllers (cf. also Art. 20 GDPR);
  • to file complaints with the supervisory authority if they believe that data concerning them is being processed by the controller in breach of data protection provisions (see also Art. 77 GDPR).

In addition, the controller is obliged to inform all recipients to whom it discloses data of any
such corrections, deletions, or restrictions placed on processing the same per Art. 16, 17 Para. 1, 18 GDPR. However, this obligation does not apply if such notification is impossible or
involves a disproportionate effort. Nevertheless, users have a right to information about these
recipients.

Likewise, under Art. 21 GDPR, users and data subjects have the right to object to the
controller's future processing of their data pursuant to Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f) GDPR. In particular, an objection to data processing for the purpose of direct advertising is
permissible.

III. Information about the data processing

Your data processed when using our website will be deleted or blocked as soon as the purpose for its storage ceases to apply, provided the deletion of the same is not in breach of any statutory storage obligations or unless otherwise stipulated below.

Server data

For technical reasons, the following data sent by your internet browser to us or to our server
provider will be collected, especially to ensure a secure and stable website: These server log
files record the type and version of your browser, operating system, the website from which
you came (referrer URL), the webpages on our site visited, the date and time of your visit, as
well as the IP address from which you visited our site.

The data thus collected will be temporarily stored, but not in association with any other of
your data.

The basis for this storage is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the
improvement, stability, functionality, and security of our website.

The data will be deleted within no more than seven days, unless continued storage is required
for evidentiary purposes. In which case, all or part of the data will be excluded from deletion
until the investigation of the relevant incident is finally resolved.

relationship with us, to fulfill such orders or contracts, and to provide customer care (e.g. to
provide you with an overview of your previous orders or to be able to offer you a wishlist
function). We also store your IP address and the date and time of your registration. This data
will not be transferred to third parties.

During the registration process, your consent will be obtained for this processing of your data,
with reference made to this privacy policy. The data collected by us will be used exclusively
to provide your customer account. 

If you give your consent to this processing, Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a) GDPR is the legal basis for
this processing.

If the opening of the customer account is also intended to lead to the initiation of a contractual
relationship with us or to fulfill an existing contract with us, the legal basis for this processing
is also Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b) GDPR.

You may revoke your prior consent to the processing of your personal data at any time under
Art. 7 Para. 3 GDPR with future effect. All you have to do is inform us that you are revoking
your consent.

The data previously collected will then be deleted as soon as processing is no longer
necessary. However, we must observe any retention periods required under tax and
commercial law.

Newsletter

If you register for our free newsletter, the data requested from you for this purpose, i.e. your
email address and, optionally, your name and address, will be sent to us. We also store the IP
address of your computer and the date and time of your registration. During the registration
process, we will obtain your consent to receive this newsletter and the type of content it will
offer, with reference made to this privacy policy. The data collected will be used exclusively
to send the newsletter and will not be passed on to third parties.

The legal basis for this is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a) GDPR.

You may revoke your prior consent to receive this newsletter under Art. 7 Para. 3 GDPR with
future effect. All you have to do is inform us that you are revoking your consent or click on
the unsubscribe link contained in each newsletter.

Contact

If you contact us via email or the contact form, the data you provide will be used for the
purpose of processing your request. We must have this data in order to process and answer
your inquiry; otherwise we will not be able to answer it in full or at all.

The legal basis for this data processing is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b) GDPR.

Your data will be deleted once we have fully answered your inquiry and there is no further
legal obligation to store your data, such as if an order or contract resulted therefrom.
